sailing a boat along the carribbean islands, hiking Nepal the possibilities are endless you must believe they are all within your grasp. And they are........ let me show you how. I want you to be inspired, motivated and open your mind to your possibilities! Putting in the hard work to putting yourself in position to travel for long term or a vacation is a process and one you can do. I believe in you! Lets get you believing and having hope with some steps. By using… no lets say buying into the mentality of Dave Ramsey Financial Techniques (there are other financial help gurus, find one you like this is a must if financial is holding you back) with his techniques of specific budgeting and the "7 baby steps" my life was changed forever and yours will be too. Check out Financial Peace University to help you jump start your financial peace and freedom to allow you to experience your dreams travel related or not. Once I had the first few steps in place from Dave Ramsey. Amazingly my mind switched on to the possibilities and I began to read many great books on extended travel. Such as NomadicMatt.com his book “How to Travel the World on $50 per Day” , CheapestDestinationsblog the book….“The Worlds Cheapest Destinations” , Vagabonding.net and his classic book Vagabonding An Uncommon Guide to the Art of Long-Term World Travel. Geeez I love that title! Step 1 - Dig in to your dreams if needed and write down 3 dream locations you want to travel. Out of the 3 pick the one closest or in your "current mind" (we will be working on changing that mindset!) that you believe most realistic And most important then put all 3 on a wall, mirror, fridge so you see them everyday. Put at the top of the list the most realistic and also circle or highlight. Get the remaining 6 steps in my free short ebook below...... Download the free ebook "7 quick steps to get you traveling now" (coming soon!) My story so you at least know and hopefully inspires you. It all began as I sold my business(no not enough to retire or ride off into the sunset), ended my apartment lease, sold stuff and put some things in storage. Yet, you don't have to be that extreme that is what was my dream and best for my soul. Baby steps to fulfill travel dreams is ok as well please just remember it's what you want out of it not the limitations set by our society, family or friends. The date was Feb 2, 2014 when I flew out of Denver (14 degrees) yikes! to begin a 6 month journey with only a 40 liter backpack through Southern Mexico into and throughout Central America…ohhh the fun begins ans warm weather yippie. With no set plans other than I actually jumped ship LOL well I left the cruise ship 2 days early at the port for Mahahual, Mexico “a small fishing village with a drinking problem” only 50 miles short of Belize along the coast. Actually, there wasn’t a bunch of drinking but there was a great deal of relaxing by the beach. After a 2ish week stay that I would begin to move/backpack/hitchhike southwest through Southern Mexico and into Central America. Well it all happened and I’m very happy it did and yeah I’d say proud to have my Dreams come true. I’ll be writing about posting about the those travels along with many others that I truly in my heart hope to inspire and motivate you to make changes in your life to reach your Dreams! and make a positive difference for planet earth.
