According to the Glen Canyon Institute only 2% of the Earths water supply is Fresh water and 1% of that is frozen. Leaving the water running while brushing your teeth uses approxitamely 5 GALLONS! A 5 minute shower uses 15-25 gallons a 10 minute over 40 gallons. 40 GALLONS! So you can save over a gallon/minute by not shaving in the shower while it’s running. 20 GALLONS SAVED! From 50waystohelp #3 states rinsing dishes before loading the automatic dishwasher uses 20 GALLONS! if you’re going th use that much water rinsing why not just wash them right there! or stop the excesssive rinsing.
